From source feeds to structured information
My DigitalMoneyBox work covers news ingestion, classification, automated processing, and authenticated API delivery. The Laravel application turns incoming source material into structured records for publishing and downstream use, retaining the source information needed to trace an item back to its origin.
A source-to-output workflow
The importer retrieves source feeds, parses items, checks for existing records, and applies quality checks. Accepted articles are stored with their source URL and publication details, assigned a category, and tagged with topics and extracted entities. Background processing supports the wider ingestion and data workflows.
Authenticated data delivery
A token-protected API exposes structured intelligence events for downstream consumers. Requests are validated and rate-limited, and the feed handles revisions and duplicate events. This gives consuming systems a defined data contract alongside source provenance.
Engineering for operational use
Ingestion and API delivery are production capabilities. The implementation handles source failures, duplicate records, classification, and API access, bringing application logic and operational checks together in a working data platform.
